Advance seat selection
For all new bookings beginning 14 May 2019, depending on the class of travel and the type of branded fare, a fee may be payable when selecting seats in advance.
When choosing to pay a fee to select your seat in advance, the fee amount will vary based on the type of seat you have selected as well as the flight duration of that segment.
Business Class guests will enjoy complimentary seat selection whilst Economy Class guests may select a seat for free or a fee.
Complimentary seat selection regardless of your branded fare type is available once online check-in opens 48 hours before your scheduled flight departure. You may opt to select your seats from any remaining seats at this time or at the airport check-in counters.
Preferred seats are seats located at the front of the Economy Class cabin.
Guests who purchase Preferred Seats enjoy priority boarding, priority meal selection, more leg space and additional amenities.
Leg Space seats are standard seats with even more leg space available on our 787 Dreamliner aircrafts only.
Some seats on our aircraft are classified as Emergency Exit Row Seats. The purchase of these seats are subjected to strict flight safety guidelines of the Department of Civil Aviation Brunei. Royal Brunei will not hesitate to reassign the seats, without refunding the fee paid, for those who do not meet these guidelines.
Some seats allocated under the preferred seats and leg space seats rows can be fitted with bassinets suitable for infants not more than 12 months, and with a limitation of weight and height of not more than 10kg and 60cm tall. Seats fitted with a bassinet are limited and families with infants are recommended to purchase in advance.
